Hanging Moss

Posted by
Pied Crow (Abuja, Nigeria) on 1 January 2010 in Plant & Nature.

The Aberdares are also a key watershed for Kenya, which has lost most of its forest cover in recent years. There are dozens of streams and lots of waterfalls. This hanging moss is usually found close to the spray from a waterfall. The park is a wonderful one to visit, but requires four-wheel drive and has no facilities for group tourism. Often you can spend the whole day there and not see another vehicle.
