I have been fooling around trying to make a pinhole camera and this weekend finally managed to get an image. I'm trying to learn enough about pinhole cameras to teach a group of older kids I work with in Mathare Valley slum to build their own as a fun way to learn a little bit about optics and the principles of photography, though it's hard to get the chemistry here. I did this with photographic paper then scanned the result and inverted it. That way I can skip film developing.
